Offline registration number for Yatra increased

Dehradun, 3 Jun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today issued an order to increase the daily offline registration limit for Char Dham Yatra. The government, following his directive, has raised the number of offline registrations per day from 1,500 to 2,000 for the Char Dham Yatra. This decision came after the Chief Minister’s visit to the Yatra Registration Office in Haridwar earlier today.
After visiting the registration counter in Haridwar and interacting with the waiting pilgrims, Chief Minister Dhami returned to Dehradun. From his camp office, he instructed to ramp up the offline registration numbers.
Today, Dhami conducted a review of the Char Dham Yatra preparations. Considering the growing number of devotees and the smooth functioning of registration, he emphasized on the need to increase offline registrations. The focus is on ensuring a safe and hassle-free experience for the Yatra pilgrims. The Chief Minister urged all officials involved in the process to fulfill their duties diligently. He also acknowledged the devotees who patiently queue up early in the morning during peak season. Additionally, he shared several suggestions to enhance the Char Dham Yatra arrangements.
Furthermore, Dhami evaluated the water supply situation in the state and directed the officials to devise an efficient action plan to address any shortages. Emphasizing on water conservation and groundwater replenishment, he encouraged public engagement in water-saving initiatives.
For the water conservation, enhancement, and groundwater improvement plan, the Chief Minister appointed Secretary Shailesh Bagoli and Special Secretary Parag Madhukar Dhakate as nodal officers.
